Build the Base means to build a foundation that is strong enough to propel you to the next level. Our gym operates in the same way as a collegiate athletics gym to better prepare athletes for the environment they anticipate playing in.
-
The Base Team is a collective of former professional and collegiate athletes who specialize in the movement patterns of rotational athletes. Our skillset is comprehensive, combining extensive knowledge of the athletic movement with expertise in high-level strength training. The strength programming we offer is derived from coaches who have worked with and developed players across various sports, including baseball, field hockey, and golf, ranging from 12U field hockey players to Major League Baseball players.
-
The founders at The Base believe that efficient movement is a fundamental aspect for every athlete, regardless of whether they play field hockey, golf, football, or baseball. Our goal is to offer unique ways of measuring an athlete's movement, equipping them with the knowledge to take responsibility and accountability for their training. To excel in any sport, athletes must possess the ability to be consistent, make adjustments, and continually improve their strength. We strive to provide relevant information that enables players and coaches to make informed decisions regarding training methods, ultimately enhancing performance when it matters most—whether it be in the batter's box, on the course, or on the field.

The most important aspect of player development occurs in the weight room, movement sessions, and speed sessions, and I am here to ensure that the athlete has every tool needed to succeed in their athletic development. The Base programs will not only make athletes perform better, prevent more injuries, and move better, but do it in a strategic way that will ultimately enable them to perform better on the field, court, or course.
